Lori Tessine Rosane, 46, died Monday, February 13, 2012, in Hot Springs, South Dakota.

Lori was born January 29, 1966 in Alliance to the late Patrick Dillon and Herta (Trapp) Kosmicki.  She attended school at St. Agnes Academy and graduated from there in 1985. After high school, Lori completed her Associates degree and began her career as an LPN.  She worked for many years as the WIC program Director and for Family Planning Services and made a difference in many women’s lives.  Lori married Gene Rosane in May of 1990 and together they had three children.

Lori truly enjoyed her family and everyone she met.  She was the happiest when she was with the people she loved the most.  She especially loved spending time with her boys and with her nieces and nephews.  She was always the fun Mom and Aunt.  She was a great card player and loved to gamble.   For a couple years, Lori counseled women with drug and alcohol addictions and helped many to change their lives.  She made many life-long friends and hoped to acquire a degree in counseling because she felt so rewarded doing this work.

Lori later moved to Hot Springs and worked with her sister Patricia at H&R Block and helped her run her restaurant at Lake Angostura.

She is survived by her two sons, Thomas and Mitchell Rosane;  her mother and step-father, Herta and William Kosmicki of Alliance; her brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Elizabeth Dillon of Hot Springs, SD; her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Ronald Rosane of Hot Springs, SD, her sister and brother-in-Law, Julie and Jeremy Weems of Alliance; her step-brother, Jason Kosmicki of Thornton, CO; her step-sister and brother-in -law Tanya and RJ Wenzel of Seguin, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Her son, William Patrick preceded her in death, her father and step-mother, Patrick and Olevia Dillon, her Sister, Michele Wisdorf and her nephews Mark Anthony and Ryan James.
