Funeral services for Norville “Wahan Canka” L. Shields, age 76, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Friday, June 22, 2012 at 9:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Hall in Manderson, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating.
A one night wake will be Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the St. Agnes Catholic Hall in Manderson, SD.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. William Center.
Burial will be Friday, June 22, 2012 2:00 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery at Sturgis, SD.

Step-Son: Gerald Dean Janis of Pine Ridge, SD
Sister: Norma Shields of Berea, OH
Grandchildren: Juanita Nevarez, Jaime Big Crow, Kelly Mousseau, Nichole Big Crow, Domonique Big Crow, Xavier Big Crow, Marcus Big Crow, Sheryee Big Crow, Shelly Big Crow, and Justin Dean Big Crow
