Lelia Jones Schommer, age 91, of 145 Charleston Drive, Grandy, NC died Monday, July 8, 2013. Born in 1922 to Guy Jones and Mamie Grant Jones she was the widow of Ralph "Fritz" Schommer.
Immediate Survivors:
Daughter: Kathleen Robinett and husband John of Grandy, NC.
Brother: John Jones of Jewelsburg, CO.
Grandchildren: 12
Great Grandchildren: Several
Mrs. Schommer is preceded in death by her three sons, Don, Nick, and Jerry. A native of Sheridan County, Nebraska for most of her life she had recently lived with her daughter & family until her death
Mrs. Schommer's body will be cremated and she will be buried in Beaver Valley Cemetery at a date to be determined.
