Funeral services for Guy “Boob” Ernest Janis (Iha Ayutapi), age 88, of Pine Ridge, South Dakota, will be Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, with Reverend Craig West officiating.
Burial at Holy Cross Episcopal Church Cemetery in Pine Ridge, South Dakota.
A one night wake service will be Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, South Dakota.
Guy was preceded in death by his spouse, Catherine “Skite” Janis; son, Guy Janis, Jr.; brothers, Clarence, Ival “Spot”, Curtis and Wendell Janis; sister, Elaine Janis; and grandson, Timothy George Janis.
Immediate Survivors:
Daughters: Lula (Leon) Bettelyoun and Wanda (Mark) Donovan both of Pine Ridge, SD.
Sons: Robert “Rocky” Dean Janis and Darin G. Janis both of Pine Ridge, SD.
Brother: Pat (Loretta) Janis of Billings, MT.
Grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren: Numerous
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
