Funeral services for Julia Ann Lame, age 75, of Sioux Falls, SD, will be Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM, at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Reverend Rhoda Mesteth officiating.
A two night wake service starts Monday, January 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM, at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD
Burial will be at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Cemetery in Slim Buttes, SD.
Julia Ann Lame died on January 14, 2014 in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 75.
Immediate Survivors:
Sons: Sylvanus Lame of Oglala, SD and Rick Lame of Scottsbluff, NE
Daughters: Willie Ann Lame and Larrietta Lame both of Chadron, NE, Fannie Bissonette of Rapid City, SD, and Cheryl Lame of Chadron, NE
Grandchildren: 21
Julia was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Julia (Shangreaux) Roan Eagle; spouse, Winfred Lame; children, Orlando Roan Eagle, Bernard Lame, and Jennifer Lame; and siblings, Gladys Little Spotted Horse, Fern Mesteth, George Mesteth, Verna Brings Yellow, Norton Roan Eagle, James Roan Eagle, Charles Roan Eagle, and Lillian Yellow Horse
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Julia Ann Lame.
