Funeral Service for Benjamin King Kindle, Sr. “Kuwa Akupi” (Chase Back) age 61, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Friday, May 2, 2014 11:00 AM, at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, with Reveverend Simon Looking Elk and Elder Madeline Garnier-Terry officiating.
A one night wake service will be Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Burial will be at St. John’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, Oglala, SD.
Immediate Survivors:
Son: Brian Kindle of Oglala, SD.
Daughters: Heather Kindle of Pine Ridge, SD, and Amber (Marcus) Kindle-Palmier of Batesland, SD.
Brothers: Fredrick Morris Kindle of Chadron, NE and Ceferino Kindle of Oglala, SD.
Sisters: Katherine (Edward) Starr and Kate Kindle both of Oglala, SD, Audrey Kindle of Dallas, TX, and Minnie Kindle of Columbus, OH.
Grandchildren: 4.
Nieces and Nephews: Numerous.
Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, Mark Kindle and Lucille Little War Bonnett; son, Benjamin Kindle, Jr.; and sister, Wanda Kindle.
