Funeral services for Burgess Sidney Conquering Bear, age 43, of Pine Ridge, SD will be Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Wakpamni CAP Office in Pine Ridge, SD, with Reverend Craig West and Senior Catechist Ben Conquering Bear officiating.
Burial will be at the Advent Cemetery, Calico, SD.
A one night wake service will Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at be11:00 AM at the Wakpamni CAP Office in Pine Ridge, SD.
Immediate Survivors:
Sons: Brandon Conquering Bear and Allen Conquering Bear both of Rushville, NE.
Daughters: Desiray Conquering Bear and Sarah Conquering Bear both of Rushville, NE.
Brothers: Lyle Conquering Bear of Gordon, NE, Dale Conquering Bear of Red Wing, MN, Eldon Conquering Bear of PA, and Dion Conquering Bear of Rushville, NE.
Sister: Annette Conquering Bear of Denver, CO.
Burgess was preceded in death by his parents, Burgess Conquering Bear and Helen Scabby Face and sister, Loretta Conquering Bear
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
