Funeral services for Richard Dean Little Moon, age 44, of Wounded Knee, SD, will be Saturday, June 28, 2014, at 2:00PM, at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee, SD. With Rev. Harold Eagle Bull officiating, and traditional Lakota services by Mr. John Gibbons and Mr. Gerald Ice.
Burial at Little Moon Family Cemetery.
There will be a two night wake services starting Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 1:00PM, at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee, SD.
Immediate survivors:
Son: Richard “Sylas” Little Moon, Jr.
Daughters: Angela Red Cloud, Unique Little Moon, Danique Little Moon, Divine Little Moon, and Serenity Little Moon
Brothers: Leo Little Moon and Ronnie Little Moon, Sr.
Sisters: Paulette Little Moon, Mona Little Moon and Cynthia Little Moon
Grandchildren: 2
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Lester White Butterfly and Victoria Little Moon; son, Josey Little Moon; and brothers, Randy Little Moon and Tony Little Moon
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Richard Dean Little Moon.
