Funeral services for Thomas “Gumbo” Norman Brown Eyes Jr. age 56, of Slim Buttes, SD will be Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 10:00AM at the Re-Creation Center in Oglala, SD with Mr. Charles McGaa officiating.
There will be traditional Lakota services with Mr. Joe Swiftbird, Mr. Pete Swiftbird, and Mr. Michael Carlow.
Burial services will be at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery, Slim Buttes, SD.
There is a wake service that started at 11:30AM today at the Re-Creation Center in Oglala, SD.

God Daughter-Avril Espinosa-Pulliam
Grandchildren: 15
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Delphine (Elk) Brown Eyes, adopted father, Pete Brown Eyes, Sr.; sons, Thomas Brown Eyes, III and Adam Brown Eyes; and daughter, Kimberly Brown Eyes.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
