Funeral services for Lena Rose, age 87, of Oral, SD, will be Friday, July 25, 2014, at 10:00AM, at the Prairie View Methodist Church near Smithwick, SD, with Rev. Morris Nelson officiating.
Internment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery near Oral.
A visitation will be Thursday, July 24, 2014, at 5:00PM - 7:00PM at the McColley’s Chapels of the Hills in Hot Springs.
Lena Rose Hussey passed away July 21, 2014, at her home near Oral, SD.
Lena Rose was born April 2, 1927, in Denver, CO, to Amos and Nancy Janie (Bascoe) Kealiher.
Immediate survivors:
Sons: Edwin and wife Sidney Hussey; David and wife Diane Husseyl; Raymond and wife Candy Hussey; Tim Hussey
Daughter: Nancy Hussey of Oral;
Grandchildren: 6
Great grandchildren: 11
A memorial has been established to the Prairie View Methodist Church in care of either the Wrapped In Love Quilt or Bell Garden projects.
