Funeral services for Betty Grove of Crawford, Nebraska will be Tuesday, August 5 at 10:30AM at the Crawford Methodist Church with Pastor Dusty Sprague officiating.
Burial will be at the Crawford Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for the Chadron Hospice or the Crawford Senior Center. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Betty Jean (Ellis) Grove passed away under care of Hospice at the Ponderosa Villa in Crawford on Saturday, August 1, 2014. Betty was born May 23, 1928 in Crawford, NE to Wilbur Ellis and Minnie M. Buckley. She grew up and went to school in Crawford. In December, 1946 she was united in marriage Wayne W. Grove. They had six children; Karen, Jerry, Cindy, Terry, Rex and Gina. They lived in Crawford until 1956 when they moved to Casper, WY. When Mr. Grove retired, they moved back to Crawford.
Immediate survivors:
Children: Karen Titchener; Jerry Grove, Cindy Maxwell, Terry Grove, Rex Grove, and Gina Pearce.
Grandchildren: 9
Great-grandchildren: 13
Nieces and nephews: numerous
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters Alma Smith and Naoma Reynoldsen, Brother Bud Ellis, two infant brothers and one granddaughter.
Villa and Senior Center. She was a cheerful, kind and caring woman and will be deeply missed by her many friends and family.
Chamberlain Chapel of Crawford is in charge of arrangements.
