Funeral services for Illa Marie Stands-Red Owl, age 62, of Pine Ridge, SD, will be Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 9:00AM at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Burial services will be at the Holy Rosary Catholic Mission Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
There will be a two night wake service starting Friday, August 15, 2014 at 4:00PM at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Immediate survivors:
Son: Jonathan Red Owl
Daughters: Sesalie Red Owl and Dawn Frank
Brothers: Calvin “Butch” Stands and Vernon Stands
Grandchildren: 7
Numerous Hunka Brothers and Sisters
Illa was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel, Sr. and Monica (Irving) Stands; spouse, Curtis Dean Red Owl; and siblings, Daniel Stands, Jr., Duane “Punky” Stands, Francis “Sonny” Irving, and Stella Irving.
