Funeral Services for Theodore Garnette, age 79, of Rapid City, SD, will beFriday, September 5, 2014 at 10:00 AM, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Mr. Charles McGaa and Fr. Peter Klink, S.J. officiating.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Floyd Hand.
Burial will be at Lakota Freedom Veterans Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A one night wake service will be Thursday, September 4, 2014 starting at 3:00 PM, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD.

Wife: Betty Garnette of Pine Ridge, SD
Son: Richard Theodore Garnette of Daven Port, IA
Daughters: Peggy Sue Lay of Rockerville, SD and Penny Jo Garnette of Martin, SD
Grandchildren: 12
Great Grandchildren: 4
Theodore was preceded in death by his parents; Martin Shangreau and Francis (Puscar) Garnette; brother, Dick Hagen; and nephew, Freddy Richard Packed.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
