Funeral Service for Edith Afraid of Enemy-Wounded Horse “Ta Sina Opi Win”, age 84, of Martin, SD, will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM, at the Lakota Memorial Church of the Nazarene, Fast Horse Creek, Wounded Knee, SD with Reverend Norman Cash and Pastor Cecelia Spotted Bear officiating. 

 

Burial will be at Johnson Memorial Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD.

 

A two night wake service will be Tuesday, September 16, 2014 starting at 3:00 PM, at the Lakota Memorial Church of the Nazarene, Fast Horse Creek, Wounded Knee, SD.

 

Immediate Survivors:

 

Grandson: Myles Marshall

 

Sisters: Vestana Red Ear Horse, Christine Lajtay and Philomine Lakota all of Oglala, SD.

 

Numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews

 

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Mabel (Wounded Horse) Afraid of Enemy; son, Ronnie Clincher; daughter, Myrna Marshall; sisters, Rachel Hollow Horn, Grace Hollow Horn, and Mary McDaniel; and brother, Emmanuel Afraid of Enemy.
