Funeral Service for John Brings Yellow, Jr., age 84, of Hot Springs, SD, will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 1PM at the Makasan Presbyterian Church in Oglala, SD with Reverend Simon Looking Elk and Elder Madeline Terry officiating.
Burial will be Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A two night wake service will start at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Makasan Multi-Purpose Building in Oglala, SD.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Richard Broken Nose
John Brings Yellow, Jr. was born on July 31, 1930 in Pine Ridge, SD to John, Sr. and Jenny (Afraid of His Horses-Youngman) Brings Yellow. John, Jr. passed away on September 13, 2014 at the Castle Manor Nursing Home in Hot Springs, SD.

Daughter: Valerie Brings Yellow of Oglala, SD

John was preceded in death by his parents, John, Sr. and Jenny (Afraid of His Horses-Youngman); spouse, Verna Mae Brings Yellow; son, Theodore Brings Yellow; 3 infant daughters; Brother, Theodore Ambrose Brings Yellow.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
