Cindy was born on February 28, 1966 in Chadron, Nebraska to Marvin and Billie Hamar.  Our beloved daughter sister, mother, aunt and friend passed away on September 8th, 2014 after a four year battle with cancer.

Cindy graduated from Crawford High School in 1984.  She loved to draw, read, crochet, needle work and garden.

Cindy married Silas Kern in 1985 and to that union, they had a son Brandon Keith Kern.  They divorced and several years later, she married John Kubo.  To this union, a son Zachary Allen Kubo was born.  Cindys family moved to Irrigan, Oregon in 2000 when Cindy became manager of Crossroads Truck Stop.  Oregon was her home for ten years until she moved to East Carbon in the fall of 2010 to begin treatments for cancer in Salt Lake City.

Cindy is survived by two sons, Brandon Kern and Zachary Kubo, mother Billie Hamar, sisters Lisa (Rod) Bridge and Krista (Chris) Pedrick, grandmothers, Edith Geary and Isabel Lockman, two nieces, two nephews, four great nephews, four grandsons, extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by father, Marvin Hamar, grandfathers, Loyd Lockman, Dale Hamar and William Geary.

She was greatly loved and will be forever missed.
