Funeral Services for Rosetta Halverson Piercy, age 92, of Gordon, will be Monday September 22, 2014, at 10:00 AM at Chamberlain-Pier Funeral Home in Gordon, NE.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Rushville, NE.
Rosetta died September 18, 2014, at Gordon Memorial Hospital. She was 92

Rosetta married Hillard Russell Halverson, January 11, 1945. They made their home and raised their four boys on the Spade Ranch. Upon Hillard’s death in 1969, Rosetta moved to Gordon and worked as secretary in the elementary school for two years.
On October 23, 1971, Rosetta married Harry Piercy and gained one step son and four step daughters. They lived on the Piercy Ranch south of Valentine until retiring in Valentine in 1978. Harry died in 1983. Rosetta moved back to Gordon and was able to enjoy spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, right up until her death. Family, friends, and faith were the focus or her life. Immediate Surviviors:
Sons: Leonard Halverson and wife Carol, Bruce Halverson and wife Temple, Richard Halverson and wife Linda, Jerry Halverson and wife Marilyn Step Son: Gaylen Piercy
Step Saughters: Marcia Shuler, Mary Jones, Marla Piercy and Margaret Smith,
Grandchildren: 13
