Funeral Service for Verdell Wayne Mesteth, age 63, of Pine Ridge, SD, will be Friday, October 3, 2014 10:00 AM, at the American Horse School in Allen, SD with Father Rick Abert, S.J. officiating.
Burial will be Waters Family Cemetery, Allen, SD.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Phillip “Wally” Waters.
A two night wake service will be Wednesday, October 1, 2014 starting at 3:00 PM, at the American Horse School in Allen, SD

Brothers: Philip “Wally” Waters, Anthony (Elizabeth) Waters, Raymond (Myra) Waters, Marty (Cameron) Waters, Thomas Waters, and John (Heather) Waters all of Allen, SD

Verdell was preceded in death by his parents Rueben and Sarah (Black Bird) Mesteth; hunka father, Leroy Waters; brothers, Howard Mesteth and Nelson Mesteth; and sisters, LaVera Mesteth and Janice Means.
