10/19/2014 - Thomas 'Tom' Stoll
Thomas "Tom" Stoll was born on November 4, 1949, and went to be with the Lord October 6, 2014. Also known as dad, papa, pops and ol' man, he was an amazing man filled with love for his family. He made it a priority to support and encourage his children and grandchildren in all they did.
He grew up in a small town and believed in waving or saying "hi" to everyone he saw. His caring, genuine, joking character brought a smile to many faces. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching his favorites, San Francisco Giants, Nebraska Cornhuskers and Jimmy Johnson.
Tom was born in South Dakota to Helen and Gilbert Stoll. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970. He moved to Fresno, CA in 1972, and took a job driving trucks for a local company.
Tom met and fell in love with Charlotte in 1975, and were married in 1976. His family grew over the years and he was blessed with children and grandchildren.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Stoll; his mother, Helen Stoll; and his brothers, Gile and Keith.
He is survived by Charlotte, his loving wife of 38 years; his children, Kevin Stoll, Jason Stoll and his wife Karle, Joetta Williams and her husband Greg, and Josh Stoll and Shwanda. Papa loved his grandchildren, Nick Stoll, Andrew Stoll, Sean Stoll, Rufus Stoll, Caden Stoll, Katelyn Stoll, Lincoln Williams, Hudson Williams and Lilia Williams. He also has many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Tom's Life will be held at Easton Presbyterian Church, 5895 S. Elm, in Easton, CA on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 11:00a.m..
Remembrances may be made in Tom's honor to Educational Employees Credit Union, memorial fund account #11966216. Donations will be used for a college fund for his grandchildren.
