Funeral Services for Leonard Joseph Garcia, age 43, of Scottsbluff, NE, was, Monday, October 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Retreat Center at Trails West in Scottsbluff, NE-1918 South Beltline Highway West, with Brother Don Mink officiating.
Burial will be at ForestLawnCemetery in Morrill, NE.
Wake Services: Two night wake services starting at 12:00 PM, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the RetreatCenter at Trails West located at 1918 South Beltline Highway West in Scottsbluff, NE.
Leonard Joseph Garcia, 43 of Scottsbluff, NE started his journey home on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in Scottsbluff. Leonard was born and raised in Alliance, NE on June 12, 1971. Leonard later moved to Morrill, NE where he graduated from high school. Leonard was residing in Scottsbluff, NE at the time of his death.
Leonard enjoyed spending time with friends and family and participating in nume5rous sported activities. He was well loved by all who knew him; especially his softball, golf, and bowling families. Leonard will best be remembered for his big, warm, and loving smile. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Leonard loved spending time with his nephews, nieces, and most of all any time he spent with his two twin boys, Landen and Logen, who were his two most precious gifts. Leonard was into many activities, including softball, golfing and bowling. Leonard worked for Union Pacific Railways for several years before he became self-employed.

Significant Other: Shelly Hoagland and girls of Gering, NE
Nieces & Nephews: Paige Garcia, Trevor Garcia, Peyton Garcia, Prudence Garcia, and Hunter Garcia.
Leonard was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Black Feather; sisters, Tracy and Yolanda Garcia; brother, Thane Yellow Eyes; step-father, Kenneth Yellow Eyes; and niece, Pyper Garcia-Ventura
