Funeral Service for Rienzol Austin Last Horse, Sr., age 57, of Kyle, SD,
1:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at the Last Horse Residence south of Kyle, SD with Reverend Cordelia Red Owl and Reverend Lyle Noisy Hawk officiating.
Burial St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Kyle, SD.
A two night wake services will start at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Last Horse Residence south of Kyle, SD.
Traditional Lakota Services provided by Mr. Francis White Lance.
Our Ate(Dad) Rienzol Austin Last Horse, Sr. was born on February 17, 1957 to Johnson Stampede Last Horse and Mary Iron Boy-Last Horse at their home in Kyle, SD. He married our Ina(mom) Rebecca Gay-Last Horse and to this union came six children.
In his early years he was an ambulance driver, a custodian for Little Wound School, and he worked for OST Dam Safety. He had many jobs but his favorite was teaching the Lakota way of life. He sang on many occasions for ceremonies, sundances, pow-wows, and was highly depended on.

Children: Austin, Gayle, Naomi (Brandon) Kimberly (Jeffrey), and Roger all of Kyle, SD, and Raenell (Sidney) of Santee, NE
Sisters: Beverly and Vincent Black Feather and Joyce Last Horse both of Kyle, SD
Brother: Wayne High Hawk of Evergreen, SD
Grandchildren; 17
Great-grandchildren: 12
Rienzol was preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Last Horse; parents, Johnson and Mary Last Horse; children, Ramone and Angel Last Horse; sisters, Linda Around Him, Maureen Last Horse, and Wilma Last Horse; and brothers, Roger Last Horse & Melvin High Hawk, Sr.
