Funeral Services for Bonita “Bonnie” Leora Merrival, age 68, of Irene, SD will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Peter Klink S.J. officiating.
Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Mission Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one night wake service will start at 5:00 PM, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Hall in Pine Ridge, SD
Rosary Service will be at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Hall in Pine Ridge, SD
Bonita Leora Merrival was born on January 29, 1940 in Pine Ridge, SD to Hermus and Edith (Martin) Merrival.
She attended grade school at the Pine Ridge Public School and graduated from the Pine Ridge High School.
Bonita was the victim of a debilitating illness that caused her to be away from home, from her teens throughout her life time to receive proper medical care. During this time, she was fortunate to have a kind and caring staff.
Immediate Survivors:
Siblings: Donroy Merrival, Lema Merrival, Ila Twiss (Lloyd), and Theresa Schuh (Edward)
Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hermus and Edith Merrival, sisters Doris Jean Clifford and Greta Brown.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements.
