Funeral services for Myrna Pelren, 74, of Crawford, Nebraska will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Crawford Community Church with Pastor Marsha Stauss officiating.  Burial will be at the Crawford Cemetery.

Myrna Faith Pelren, passed away unexpectedly on November 9 at her home in Crawford, Nebraska.  She was born on November 20, 1939 on the Pine Ridge, Nebraska about 18 miles south of Crawford to Ralph and Fern Miller.

Myrna was the valedictorian of the 1957 graduating class of Crawford High School and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Crawford Hospital.

She married Jack Pelren on January 25, 1958.

Myrna was an avid reader, loved cinnamon rolls, and loved being in the country.  During her time, she established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  She was a Godly example to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband Jack of 56 years of Crawford, a sister, Betty Brauer of Manchester, Iowa; a brother, Dale Miller of Van Tassel, Wyoming; a daughter, Kathy (Scott) Smith of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a son-in-law, Don of Reno, NV; five grandchildren, Chad Smith of Lakewood, CO, Chris Smith (Lisa) of Greenwood, IN, Kathy Redmon, Beth (Josh) Stoycoff, and Rebecca Lundgren all of Reno, NV, and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Ruth, and a daughter, Laurie.
