Funeral Services for Maria Dawn Afraid of Hawk, age 40, of Pine Ridge, SD will be 10:00 AM, Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Porcupine Day School in Porcupine, SD with Reverend Craig West officiating.
Burial will be at St. Julia’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, Porcupine, SD
A one night wake service will start at 1:00 PM, Sunday, November 23, 2014 at the Porcupine Day School in Porcupine, SD.
Immediate Survivors:
Aunts: Cheryl Locke, Priscilla Locke, and Ellowyn Locke all of Porcupine, SD and Debra Locke of Martin, SD
Uncles: Darrell Locke, Sr., Merle Locke, and Clement Locke all of Porcupine, SD
Nephews: Clevell Roper, Jr. of Kansas City, MO and Thomas Williams, Jr. of Minneapolis, MN
Niece: Tameisha Williams of Minneapolis, MN
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Frances (Locke) Afraid of Hawk; sisters, Michelle Afraid of Hawk; and brother, Michael Afraid of Hawk.
