Funeral services for Sophia “Sophie” (Few Tails) Lone Hill at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 13th, at the Porcupine School in Porcupine, SD, with Rev. Simon Looking Elk officiating.
Burial will be at the Porcupine Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Porcupine, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 2:00 PM Thursday, December 11th, at the Porcupine School.
Sophie died December 7th in Pine Ridge, SD.
Survivors include:
Sons Donavan Lone Hill, William Lone Hill, Jr., and Dana Lone Hill, all of Porcupine, SD
Daughters Donette Lone Hill and Tanya “Starr” Lone Hill, both of Porcupine, SD, and Sarah Whirlwind Horse of Rapid City, SD
Brother Leonard Few Tails of Kyle, SD
Hunka Daughter Shawnee Left Hand of Porcupine, SD
11 grandchildren and one great grandson
Sophia was preceded in death by parents John and Lydia (Kills Two) Few Tails, spouse William Lone Hill, Sr., daughter JoAnn Lone Hill, brothers Curtis Few Tails, Louis Few Tails, Sr., and Johnny Few Tails, and two infant brothers.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD, is in charge of arrangements.
