Funeral services for 44-year-old Larvie Medford Running Hawk will be 12:00 PM, Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD, with Mr. Charles McGaa officiating and traditional Lakota services Mr. Kayo Bad Heart Bull.
Burial will be at the Holy Rosary Mission Catholic Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD.
Larvie died December 8, 2014 in Calico, SD.
Survivors include:
Brother Clifton Waters Sr. of Pine Ridge, SD
Uncles Delmer Dreaming Bear of Oglala, SD; Calvert Dreaming Bear of Denver, CO; and Albert Running Hawk of Pine Ridge, SD
Aunts Katherine Bianas and Diane Ramos of Pine Ridge, SD, and Janet Carrera of Scottsbluff, NE
Numerous extended family members
Larvie was preceded in death by parents Laverne Running Hawk and Loretta (Dreaming Bear) Running Hawk and sisters Evette Warrior and Debra Warrior.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Larvie Medford Running Hawk.
