Funeral services for Trudell Titus Slow Bear, Sr., age 45, will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Sister Barb officiating and traditional Lakota services provided by Chris Brooks and Ivis Long Visitor.
Burial will be at Our Lady of the Sioux Catholic Church in Oglala, SD.
A two-night wake service will start at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala.
Trudell Sr. passed away on January 3, 2015 in Pine Ridge, SD.

Sons Trudell Slow Bear, Jr. of Pine Ridge, SD
Daughters Elaina Steele of Manderson, SD, and Kiersten Slow Bear and Tia Slow Bear, both of Oglala, SD
Brother Lester Thunder Hawk of Sioux Falls, SD
Sisters Melissa Slow Bear and Vesta Packed, both of Pine Ridge, SD; Lois Packed of Wisconsin; Jessica Packed of Denver, CO; Cherise Packed of Mayahe, WI; and Erma Packed of Wakpamni, SD
Grandchildren Shilo and Andre Long Visitor and Tokala Little
Aunt Annie Mills of Minneapolis, MN
Trudell Sr. was preceded in death by mother Philomene Yvonne Slow Bear, daughter Elisha Slow Bear, brother John Martin, and grandmother Mary (Stands) Slow Bear.
