Funeral services for Arthur Patrick Janis, age 79, will be 10:00 AM on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Charles McGaa officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM on Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge.
Burial will be at the Holy Rosary Catholic Mission Cemetery in Pine Ridge.
Arthur passed away on January 10, 2015 in Billings, MT. He was a veteran in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include:
Son Stanley Blacksmith of Oglala, SD
Daughter Roxanne Dreamer of Pine Ridge, SD
Grandchildren Alan Janis, Jr. and Lyle Janis, both of Billings, MT
Arthur was preceded in death by parents Francis and Cora (Bird Necklace) Janis; son Alan Janis, Sr.; brothers Ival Janis, Guy Janis, Clarence Janis, Curtis Janis, and Wendell Janis; and one infant sister.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Arthur Patrick Janis.
