Funeral services for Wilmer Anthony Mesteth, age 57, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Mesteth Family Residence, Cheyenne Creek, in Pine Ridge, SD.
Burial will be at the Mesteth Family Cemetery, Cheyenne Creek, in Pine Ridge.
A two-night wake service will begin with the first night at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in the Lakota Dome at Prairie Wind Casino. The second night service will start at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Mesteth Family Residence.
Wilmer passed away on January 16, 2015 in Rapid City, SD.
Survivors include:
Wife Lisa Standing Elk-Mesteth of Pine Ridge, SD
Children Juan Mesteth of Rapid City, SD; and Lonnie Mesteth, Ronnie Mesteth, Hoksila Mesteth, Dakota Mesteth, and Rachel Mesteth, all of Pine Ridge, SD;
Brothers Gilbert W. Mesteth and Phil Iron Cloud, both of Pine Ridge, SD; and Phillip Mesteth Sr. of Ethete, WY
Sisters Mary Ann Mesteth-Witt of Pine Ridge, SD; Lynnette Mesteth-Murray of Parmalee, SD; Ruth Mesteth-Gray Horse and Denise Mesteth-Spoon Hunter, both of Fayetteville, NC; and Letitia American Horse of Ethete, WY

Wilmer was preceded in death by parents Gabriel Mesteth Sr. and Rosalyn Red Shirt-Mesteth, siblings Daniel Mesteth, Gabriel Mesteth Jr., Orlin Mesteth and Theresa Mesteth
