Funeral services for Marian Colene Bald Eagle “Anpo Wicapi Win,” age 50, will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Sister Barb and Matthew (Kayo) Bad Heart Bull officiating.
Burial will be at Our Lady of the Sioux in Oglala.
A two-night wake service will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at the Brother Rene Hall.
Marian passed away on January 20, 2015 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Survivors include:
Children Lacresha Bald Eagle, Karina Bald Eagle, Questa Bald Eagle, and Ticho Bald Eagle, all of Rapid City, SD; Benjamin Voorhees of Pierre, SD; Amillo Bald Eagle of Bismarck, ND; Santiago Bald Eagle of Sioux Falls, SD; and Tino (Aries) Yellow Horse of Oglala, SD
Grandchildren Jody, Lilliana, and Nicole Bald Eagle, all of Rapid City, SD
Siblings Eli Bald Eagle of Rapid City, SD and Leoncio Bald Eagle of Canon City, CO
Marian was preceded in death by parents Max Bald Eagle and Rosemary (Long) Bald Eagle; sisters Lawrencia Bald Eagle, Mavis Hemmingway and Corrine Bald Eagle; and son Quentin Yellow Horse.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Marian Colene Bald Eagle “Anpo Wicapi Win.”
