Funeral services for Benjamin Cecil Fire Thunder Sr., age 72, will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD with Father Rick Abert S.J. officiating.
Burial will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Lakota Freedom Veterans Cemetery in Kyle.
A one-night wake service will start at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall.
Benjamin passed away on January 16, 2015 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy.

Sons James Fire Thunder of Martin, SD, John Fire Thunder of Bozeman, MT, and Benjamin Fire Thunder Jr. of Madill, OK
Daughter Kesewin Fire Thunder of Long Beach, CA
Brother Dennis Fire Thunder of Paramount, CA
Sister Lorraine Munoz of Kyle, SD
Grandchildren: 10
Benjamin was preceded in death by parents James Fire Thunder and Charlotte Standing Buffalo-Ortiz and brother Ralph Stover.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD, is in charge of arrangements for Benjamin Cecil Fire Thunder Sr.
