Funeral services for Eileen Shirley Whirlwind Horse, age 86, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Dave DeMarco S.J. and Charles McGaa officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Richard Moves Camp.
Burial will be at the Whirlwind Horse Family Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Hall with rosary services starting at 8:00 PM.
Eileen passed away on January 24, 2015 in Pine Ridge, SD.

Sons Wesley Whirlwind Horse and Anthony (Roxie) Whirlwind Horse of Pine Ridge, SD
Daughters Marilyn White of Pine Ridge, SD; Nadine (Neil) Linehan of Oglala, SD; and Emily (Mike) Stephens of Prospect Heights, IL
Sisters Verine (Art) Lafferty of Kyle, SD; Betty June Patton and Lorretta Brewer of Rapid City, SD; and Doris Twiss of Las Vegas, NV.
Brother Orville White of Minnesota
Eileen was preceded in death by parents Martin White and Emily (Pourier) Montileaux; sisters Shirley Ferguson, Florine Westover, Marie Janis, Louise Sherman, and Carol White; brothers Dennis White, Ivan White, and Martin White, Jr.; three grandsons and one great-grandson.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Eileen Shirley Whirlwind Horse.
