03/14/2015 - Wilbur “Wabo” Warrior
Funeral services for Wilbur “Wabo” Warrior, age 84, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Rev. Abraham Tobacco and Rev. Pedro Sharpfish officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Richard Broken Nose.
Burial will be in the Warrior Family Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A two-night wake service will start at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD.
Wilbur passed away on March 9, 2015 in Yankton, SD.
Survivors include:
Children Owen Warrior and Dale Warrior, both of Oglala, SD; Mike Warrior of Calico, SD; Gerri Warrior of Scottsbluff, NE; and Charles Warrior of Sioux Falls, SD.
Grandchildren: 28
Wilbur was preceded in death by parents Fargo Warrior and Stella Spider Backbone, brothers Harvey and Everette Warrior, and sisters Irene (Warrior) Bores A Hole and Clementine (Warrior) Blue Horse.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements Wilbur “Wabo” Warrior.
