Funeral services for Myrtle Short Bull, age 58, will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Pastor Wade and Rev. Pedro Sharpfish officiating.
Burial will be at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the BrotherReneHall in Oglala.
Myrtle passed away on March 9, 2015 in Menard, TX.
Survivors include:
Sons Johnny Gomez, Jr., Robert Lee Gomez, and David Corey Gomez, all of Austin, TX
Daughter Olivia Gomez of Houston, TX
Brothers Fay Short Bull of Gering, NE; and Regan Short Bull and Thearl Short Bull, both of Oglala, SD
Sisters Judy White Dress of Scottsbluff, NE and Georgene Short Bull of Oglala, SD
Myrtle was preceded in death by parents Eugene, Sr. and Edith (Frogg) Short Bull; daughter Tonya Short Bull; sisters Geneice Short Bull and Ramona Short Bull; and brothers Vladimir Short Bull, Emery Short Bull, Eugene Short Bull, Jr., Bruce Short Bull, Merle Short Bull, Kevin Short Bull, Sr., Devon Short Bull, and Carl Short Bull.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Myrtle Short Bull.
