Funeral services for Feather “Wiyaka” Rose Long Black Cat-Eder, age 13, will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gym in Pine Ridge, SD. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Ivis Long Visitor.
Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Mission Cemetery in Oglala, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 12:00 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Pine Ridge Elementary School Gym in Pine Ridge.
Feather passed away on March 14, 2015 in Pine Ridge, SD.

Mother Christina Long of Pine Ridge, SD
Grandparents John and Marie Long of Pine Ridge, SD
Brothers Frank Long Black Cat, John Long III, Timmy Bad Heart Bull-Eder, MJ Long Black Cat, Mahpiya Ska Long Black Cat, Ta Yamni Long Black Cat, Macario Long Black Cat, and Wakinyan Long Black Cat, all of Pine Ridge, SD
Sisters Carmen Long Black Cat, Rose Long Black Cat, Ivee Long Black Cat, and Marena Eder, all of Pine Ridge, SD
Feather was preceded in death by grandmother Madonna Slow Bear, grandfather Martin Eder, and niece Raelynn Cottier.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Feather “Wiyaka” Rose Long Black Cat-Eder.
