Graveside services for Vivian Britton, age 95, of Crawford, NE will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Crawford Cemetery with Pastor Dusty Sprague officiating.
A memorial has been established for the Crawford Fire Department. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, P.O. Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Vivian passed away on March 4, 2015 at the Ponderosa Villa in Crawford. She was born on February 26, 1920, the youngest of 11 children, to Charles and Lena (English) Bauersachs. She was born in a log cabin on the land her grandparents, James and Helen English, homesteaded east of Crawford.
Vivian married Wallace Britton in October 1938 in Crawford. To this union, four children were born.
Vivian was preceded in death by husband Wallace, brothers Carl, James, Ross, Warren, Homer, Frank, and Robert Bauersachs; sisters Lena Bauersachs, Letha Jolly, and Helen Toliver; and one granddaughter.
She is survived by sons Tim and Mike Britton of Mabton, WA; daughters Becky Amick of Rapid City, SD, and Bonnie Winkelman of Crawford, NE; seven grandchildren,; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements for Vivian Britton.
