Funeral services for Earl Kenneth Standing Soldier, age 67, will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge, SD with Father Peter Klink, S.J. and Sister Connie Schmidt officiating.
Burial will be at Holy Rosary Catholic Mission Cemetery in Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake service will start at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Ridge.
Earl passed away on April 21, 2015 in Scottsbluff, NE.
Survivors include:
Spouse Ramona Standing Soldier of Alliance, NE
Son Derek Standing Soldier of Yuma, AZ
Daughter Latonya Trujilo of Albuquerque, NM
Brothers Stanley Standing Solider of Pine Ridge, SD, David Standing Soldier of Kyle, SD, Frances “Buzz” Jensen of Oglala, SD, and Clarence Walking Eagle of Pine Ridge, SD
Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren
Earl was preceded in death by parents Stanley Sr. and Dorothy (Janis) Standing Soldier, son Earl Standing Soldier Jr., and sister Amy Standing Soldier.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Earl Kenneth Standing Soldier.
