Memorial services for Ruth Schwarz, age 74, of Chadron, NE will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Chamberlain Chapel in Chadron with Pastor Fred Grant officiating.
Inurnment will be at the Gordon Cemetery at 2:00 PM. A reception will follow after the burial at the Gordon Seventh-day Adventist Church, 501 N. Oak St.
A memorial has been established for the Crazy Horse Memorial. Donations may be sent to Chamberlain Chapel, PO Box 970, Chadron, NE 69337.

Ruth passed away on March 23, 2015 at her home in Chadron. She was born on March 9, 1941 in Baltimore, MD to Richard and Muriel Kemp. She was a registered nurse and worked at a hospital in Ontario, OR. In her years of nursing, she also worked as a practical nurse and rehab nurse.
Ruth had three sons: Matt, Doug, and Greg Holloway. On June 27, 1987, Ruth married Brad Schwarz in northern Nevada. Ruth was a member of the Sandhills Amateur Radio Klub, also known as the SHARKS. She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and was very good at transplanting flowers.
Ruth is survived by husband Brad, sisters Helen Boyd, June Kemp, Debbie Boling, and Jo Ahrends, brothers Jim and Richard Kemp, sons Matt and Doug Holloway, six grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Chamberlain Chapel of Chadron is in charge of arrangements for Ruth Schwarz.
