Memorial services for Tillie Eleanor White, age 71, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD with Sister Connie Schmidt officiating.
Visitation services will be from 3:00 PM-Midnight on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, with Rosary services starting at 7:00 PM.
Tillie passed away on May 2, 2015 at the Hospice of the Hills in Rapid City, SD. She was born on February 8, 1944 to Talton and Jenny (Hat) Hawk in Crawford, NE.
Tillie is survived by son William White of Oglala, SD; daughters Shelley White of Oglala, SD and Poppy White of Gretna, NE; brothers Steve (Pru) Hawk and Joe Hawk of Oglala, SD, and Lambert (Mary) Hawk of Pine Ridge, SD; sister Sara (Darold) Forney of Oglala, SD; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tillie was preceded in death by husband Billy Joe White; parents Talton and Jenny Hawk; and sister Phoebe Thunder Horse.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Tillie Eleanor White.
