05/25/2015 - Gregory Allen Rowland, Sr.
Funeral services for 35-year-old Gregory Allen Rowland Sr., of Wounded Knee, SD, will be at 2 pm Monday, May 25, at the Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee, SD with Pastor William Quijas & The Rev. Harold Eagle Bull officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Mr. Gerald Ice.
Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wounded Knee.
A two-night wake service will begin at 5 pm on Saturday, May 23, at Messiah Episcopal Church in Wounded Knee.
Greg passed away on May 18, 2015, in Sioux Falls, SD.

Mother, Bernadine Rowland of Wounded Knee, SD
Son: Gregory Rowland, Jr. of Pine Ridge, SD
Daughters, Kayandra Rowland of Wounded Knee, SD and Mia Bad Yellow Hair of Pine Ridge, SD
Brothers, Patrick (Roberta) Rowland, Jr. and Alex Rowland of Wounded Knee, SD
Sister, Jennifer (Ira) Rowland of Wounded Knee, SD
Grandparents, Cleonce Ice of Wounded Knee, SD, and Emma Homer of Ashland, MT Special Friend, April Bad Yellow Hair of Pine Ridge, SD
Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Patrick Rowland, Sr.; son, Kastor Rowland; and grandparents, Clarence “Balley” Rowland, Theresa Shot and Antoine LaDeaux.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
