Funeral services for Phillip Morris David Ward Sr. age 51, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church in Oglala, SD with Reverend Simon Looking Elk and Elder Madeline Terry officiating.
Burial will be at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Oglala.
A one-night wake service will start at 2:30 PM on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Makasan Presbyterian Church Hall in Oglala.
Phillip passed away on May 25, 2015 in Deadwood, SD.
Survivors include:
Mother Pauline Her Many Horses of Oglala, SD
Sons Phillip Ward Jr. and Micheal Ward, both of Pine Ridge, SD
Daughter Jenna (Steve) Richard of Pine Ridge, SD
Brothers Curtis (Liz) Spotted Elk of Delavan, WI, and Bluch Fire Thunder and AV Fire Thunder of Manderson, SD
Grandchildren: 9
Phillip was preceded in death by father William Ward; stepfather Bill Her Many Horses; spouse Jerilyn Ward; son Lewey Rock; and sisters Mariah Ward and Phyllis Ward.
