Funeral services for Elton Lynn White Cow Killer-Hand, age 50, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge, SD. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by Scotti Brown Eyes. The service will also feature the Oyate Teca Singers Drum Group.
Burial will be at the White Cow Killer Family Cemetery in the Red Cloud Community of Pine Ridge, SD.
A one-night wake will start at 3:00 PM on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Billy Mills Hall in Pine Ridge.
Elton passed away on June 1, 2015 in Pine Ridge, SD.
Survivors include:
Son Wayne Hand of Wisconsin
Daughters Tasha Hand and Tania Hand, both of Wisconsin
Brother Floyd Hand of Pine Ridge, SD
Sisters: Arlene Jones of Pine Ridge, SD and Donna Blue Bird of Duluth, MN
Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Elton was preceded in death by parents Marian White Cow Killer-Hand, Floyd Hand Sr. and Angel Ruiz; and siblings Irby Hand, Wayne Hand, Annabelle Hand and Clara Sue Hand.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Elton Lynn White Cow Killer-Hand.
