Mass of Christian Burial for John Earl Puckett, age 79, will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the St. Stephen’s Catholic Church north of Kyle, SD with Father Rick Abert, S.J. officiating. A reception will be at 2:30 PM at the St. Stephen’s ChurchCommunity Center.
Burial will be at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the St. Stephen’s Catholic Church north of Kyle.
John passed away on June 4, 2015 in Kyle, SD. He is survived by wife Marilyn Puckett of Kyle, SD; sons Michael (Donna) Puckett, Dale (Dawn) Puckett, and Glen (Delores) Puckett, all of Kyle, SD; daughters Dinah (Elden) Puckett-Smith and Patricia (James) Puckett-Croyle, both of Rapid City, SD; brothers Thomas (Betty) Puckett of Westminster, CO, Boyd “Sonny” Burnett Jr. of Rapid City, SD, and Rodney Burnett of Grand Island, NE; sister Glora Jean Burnett of Grand Island, NE; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by parents Harold and Bertha Puckett; stepfather Boyd Burnett Sr.; brothers Joseph Puckett and Raymond Puckett; sister Beverly Burnett; and great grandchildren Mylie Parlier and Maximus Lefler.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for John Earl Puckett.
