Funeral services for Carlita Jeanette Takes War Bonnett “Waunsila Win” (Good Heart Woman), age 47, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD with Reverend Cordelia Red Owl and Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating.
Burial will be at the Mediator Episcopal Church Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A two-night wake service will start at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Hall in Kyle, SD.
Carlita passed away on June 7, 2015 in Rapid City, SD.
Survivors include:
Sons Fred Bush III and Ethan Bush, both of Rapid City, SD
Daughters Caitlin Bush and Corisa Bush, both of Rapid City, SD
Brothers Leo Takes War Bonnett Jr. of Manderson, SD and Leon Takes War Bonnett Sr. of Rapid City, SD
Sisters Marlene Apple of Martin, SD, Cheryl Mesteth of Kyle, SD, and Ruby Takes War Bonnett and Lucille Takes War Bonnett, both of Rapid City, SD
Grandchildren Leonaya Clough, Tamia Clough, Willow Clough, and Alysin Fite, all of Rapid City, SD
Carlita was preceded in death by parents Leo Sr. and Sophie (One Horn) Takes War Bonnett, and brother Ray Takes War Bonnett Sr.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Carlita Jeanette Takes War Bonnett “Waunsila Win” (Good Heart Woman).
