A Mass of Christian Burial for Howard Provost, age 86, will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Porcupine, SD with Father Peter Klink, S.J. officiating.
Burial will be at St. Mary Magdalene’s Catholic Cemetery in Rockyford, SD.
Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Porcupine.
Howard passed away on June 11, 2015 in Martin, SD.
Survivors include:
Sons Delane Provost and Irv Provost, both of Pine Ridge, SD
Daughter Colleen Provost of Batesland, SD
Sisters Pauline Provost-Little of Porcupine, SD, Mary Provost-Jensen of California, and Shirley Provost-Cuny of Hemingford, NE
17 grandchildren
Numerous great-grandchildren
Howard was preceded in death by parents Albert Sr. and Lema (Russell) Provost; daughter Mona Provost-Hagen; and brothers Medar Provost, Adolf Provost, Wilbert Provost, and Albert Provost Jr.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Howard Provost.
