Funeral services for Harley Dean Brown, age 54, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at the Crazy Horse School in Wanblee, SD with Reverend Harold Eagle Bull officiating.
Burial will be at the Gethsemane Episcopal Church Cemetery in Wanblee, SD.
A procession will begin at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Sioux Funeral Home in Pine Ridge, SD.
A two-night wake service will start at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at the Crazy Horse School in Wanblee.
Harley passed away on June 26, 2015 in Martin, SD. He was a veteran in the U.S. Army.
Harley is survived by mother Sylvia (White Bull) Brown; brothers Peter Charles Red Willow of Wanblee, SD, Gerald Lyle Brown of Wanblee, SD, Richard Brown of Kyle, SD, and Nelson Brown of Wanblee, SD; sisters Marlyce Long of Rosebud, SD, Sheryl White of Rosebud, SD, and Rita Brown of Wanblee, SD; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.
Harley was preceded in death by father Gerald Lyle Brown Sr.; brother Edward “Orbie” Brown Sr.; paternal grandparents Benjamin and Fedelia (LaPlant) Brown; and maternal grandparents Isaac and Martha (Chipps) White Bull.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Harley Dean Brown.
