Funeral services for Mary Ann White Butterfly, age 52, will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson, SD with Father Ed Witt, S.J., Father Peter Klink, S.J., and Father Roland Coelho, S.J. officiating.
Burial will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Wounded Knee, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin with the first night starting at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the Mother Butler Center in Rapid City, SD. The second night will start at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at the Wounded Knee District School in Manderson.
Mary Ann passed away on June 28, 2015 in Sioux Falls, SD.
Survivors include:
Son Samuel Silk of Kyle, SD
Daughters Samantha Silk and Nicole White Butterfly, both of Sioux Falls, SD and Chasity Jealous of Him of Lincoln, NE
Brother Philbert White Butterfly of Pine Ridge, SD
Sisters Beverley Running Bear and Rita White Butterfly, both of Rapid City, SD, Karen White Butterfly of Manderson, SD, Phyllis Shott of Rockyford, SD, Gloria White Butterfly of Salt Lake City, UT, Delphine White Butterfly and Carol White Butterfly, both of Sioux Falls, SD and Joyce White Butterfly of Pine Ridge, SD
19 grandchildren
Mary Ann was preceded in death by parents Benjamin White Butterfly and Rose Marie Shott, child James McClouskey Jr., and siblings Lester White Butterfly and Bonnie White Butterfly.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Mary Ann White Butterfly.
