Funeral services for Delbert Cory Yellow Wolf “Oyata Waha Cankayate” The People’s Shield, age 23, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church Hall in Kyle, SD with Father Rick Abert S.J. officiating. Traditional Lakota Services will be provided by Francis “Chubbs” Thunder Hawk.
Burial will be at St. Barnabas Episcopal Cemetery in Kyle, SD.
A two-night wake service will begin at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Sorrows Church Hall in Kyle.
Delbert passed away on July 2, 2015 in Ft. Carson, CO. He was a veteran in the United States Army.

Brothers Mason Young Bull Bear and Nathan Young Bull Bear, both of Kyle, SD, David Young Bull Bear of Rapid City, SD, and Gary Young Bull Bear of Sacramento, CA
Sisters Gloria Young Bull Bear of Albuquerque, NM and Janet Yellow Wolf, Wanda Yellow Wolf, and Crystal Yellow Wolf, all of Rapid City, SD
Delbert was preceded in death by father Martin Young Bull Bear Sr.
Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge, SD is in charge of arrangements for Delbert Cory Yellow Wolf “Oyata Waha Cankayate” The People’s Shield.
