A memorial mass for 81-year-old Frank Roost of Fairfield Bay, AK, formerly of Chadron, will at 10 am, Saturday, July 18, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Arkansas with Fr. Oliver Ochieze and Deacon Frank Zanoff officiating.
Memorials may be made to the 3rd and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
Olmstead Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Frank Roost.
Frank Roost, age 81, passed away on July 14, 2015 at his home in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas. Born on November 5, 1933 in South Sioux City, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Frank H. and Margret Hammer Roost.
Frank and his wife Nancee moved to FairfieldBay in 1988 coming from Chadron, Nebraska, where he was a member of the Fire Department. He had served as a member of the Fairfield Bay Fire Department having served as Deputy Chief and Assistant Chief. He was a faithful member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Member.
Frank is survived by his wife Nancee, his daughters Cynthia Gray and her husband Dan of Kearney, Nebraska, Karen Larsen and her husband Dick of Chadron, Nebraska and Wendy Higginbotham and her husband Bill of Searcy, Arkansas, his son Frank W. Roost and his wife Shannon of Rapid City, South Dakota, his brother Gary Roost of South Sioux City, Nebraska, a sister Norma Geveshausen of Dakota City, Nebraska, ten grandchildren and thirteen great-
grandchildren. Mr. Roost is also survived by his other relatives and many friends.
