07/27/2015 - Sylvanus Winifred Lame

     Funeral services for 56 year old Sylvanus Winfred "Sal" Lame will be Monday, July 27, at 10:00 am in Brother Rene Hall in Oglala, SD, with Rev Rhoda Mesteth officiating.

       Burial will be at St. Matthews Episcopal Cemetery in Slim Buttes, SD.

      A two-night wake service will begin Saturday (July 25) at 3:00 PM, also at Brother Rene Hall in Oglala

       Survivors include son Sylvanus Lame, Jr. of Lincoln, NE, daughters Natacha Burns Prairie and Chanelle Burns Prairie both of Lincoln, Natalie Roan Eagle of North Dakota, and Larrisa Lame of Sioux Falls, SD

       He is also survived by his brother Richard Lame of Scottsbluff, NE, and sisters Willieann Lame, Cheryl Lame, and Larritta Lame - all of Chadron, Linda Yellow Horse of Oglala, SD, and Fannie Lame of Mission, SD, along with numerous grandchildren.

      Sylvanus was preceded in death by his parents, Winfred Lame and Julie Ann (Roan Eagle) Lame; and siblings, Bernard Lame, Orlando Roan Eagle, and Jennifer Lame.

         Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements for Wylvanus Winfred "Sal" Lame.
